Emergency roof repair starts when a storm or a falling tree opens your roof to the weather. Our first job is to stop the water getting in. Then we stabilize the building and plan the permanent repair. Slow leaks and worn flashing fall under our regular roof repair service.

An open roof takes on more water with every round of rain. In most cases our first step is emergency tarping or sealing to stop further damage. The full repair gets scheduled once the weather clears and conditions are safe.
We also make the building stable. That can mean temporary coverings or structural support under a damaged section of roof or wall. Fallen limbs and debris come off the roof before they do more damage.
Some emergencies start inside the house. Water drips from the ceiling, or a stain keeps spreading while the storm goes on. We find where the water is getting in and seal it until the permanent repair.
High winds and heavy rain hit hardest on the south and west sides of Whidbey Island. Island County's severe weather plan says the county is most exposed to severe wind from December through March. Downed trees come first on its list of the most probable damage. The plan adds that heavy wet snow brings down trees and utility lines too.
A falling tree can crack rafters and decking and tear the siding off the wall below. Our carpenters and our roofing crew work together on these repairs. The framing and the roof get rebuilt in one job. When the walls took damage too, new siding goes on as part of the repair.
The historic Brewster farmhouse is one of these jobs. It is an early-1930s home on the island, and a tree fell on it during a high-wind storm. We rebuilt and waterproofed the affected areas to stop further damage to the building.
If the repair goes through an insurance claim, we document and itemize the damage for your insurer. You get a diagnostic report with a detailed assessment of the materials and labor the repair needs. What your policy covers is between you and your insurance company.
On the Brewster farmhouse, we worked directly with the homeowner's insurance company. We carefully itemized the scope of work. Once the project was approved, we completed the repair, siding and roofing work.

Real reviews from real roofing and siding jobs on Google.
They installed a new metal roof on the house we purchased and were able to start quickly which meant it was nearly done by the time we moved in. We had a great experience working with Jeff who was very helpful with suggestions on some cosmetic changes we made and the entire roof and gables came out nicely. Very pleased with this company and would recommend them to anyone on Whidbey looking for roofing or siding work.
Whidbey Roof and Siding did an outstanding job. Very professional! No playing games came in with the lowest bid. We did run into a few surprises, but Jeff was very clear and transparent about what it would take to correct the issue. Very glad I had someone who could deal with the issues. As one recent visitor said the skylight looks like it was here all along and not an after thought addition. Highly recommend
What a class act. You only have to mention what you want. And it will be done better than expected. We have used them multiple times. I can’t imagine using anyone else for a future projects.
